Bringing all sides of the Brexit debate together

Next week Sheffield for Europe is hosting a meeting to help heal the divisions that Brexit has caused.

Leavers and Remainers are invited to the CentraL United Reform Church on Norfolk Street, Sheffield on Friday 19th July at 7 p.m.

Speakers include Paul Blomfield, MP for Sheffield Central, Mary Senerviratne, chair of Sheffield for Europe, Shaffaq Mohammed, MEP (Yorkshire & The Humber) and Peter Garbutt, a Sheffield Green Party councilor.

The point of People’s Voice meetings is to bring Leavers and Remainers together to discuss their concerns and expectations over Brexit openly and honestly.  The main part of the meeting, therefore, will be given to discussion in small groups.

“If we are to be part of the healing process, both sides on Brexit must listen to each other with respect”, said Mike Reynolds, who is organizing the event.  “This meeting is free and open to all.  Come and be part of this healing !”

Entry is free, but places can be booked on Eventbrite at”
